  • Meditation isn’t a practice to eliminate all thoughts, that would be impossible
  • You don't have to be able to sit still or in the lotus position to practice

  • You don’t have to be religious or spiritual
  • It's not time intensive, how often you practice is more important than the length of time you meditate in one sitting. Even just 5 minutes a day, everyday is beneficial
  • You don't need special equipment or a special place

  • Connects to your inner self by becoming present and aware of what’s happening in and around you
  • You become truly present
  • Gives space between your thoughts
  • Actively trains the mind to increase awareness
  • Helps you re-centre to your inner calm 
  • It's easy to do, anytime, anywhere
  • It's a life skill
  • It’s self-care
